Rationale

To provide a safe environment for all persons on the school premises. 

Purpose

To provide adequate parking for all staff in school grounds.

To ensure the safety of the students when entering and leaving the grounds.

To provide free vehicle access to and from school at all times. 

Broad Guidelines

Parking within school grounds restricted to staff members during school hours (8.00 am - 4.00pm) except for disabled persons.

Parents are requested to park safely and legally outside the school grounds, clear of the gate area, observing road markings.

Service vehicles may use the driveway to drop off or pick up as required.

A sign will be displayed at the gate outlining these parking restrictions.

The sign shall read:

ONLY AUTHORISED PARKING IN SCHOOL GROUNDS BETWEEN

THE HOURS OF 8.00 AM AND 4.00 PM ON SCHOOL DAYS.

Speed within the school grounds is restricted to 5 kph.
