Rationale
A
clean and hygienic learning environment is essential to minimise health
risks for students and staff, enhance effective learning, encourage
students and staff to develop and maintain pride in their surroundings
and present a positive image.
Procedures
Cleaning will be done according to the cleaner’s contract.
Additional duties may be added to the cleaner’s contract by consent.
Cleaning quality to be checked regularly.
Teachers will
encourage students to take responsibility for keeping the classroom and
school tidy and their own personal hygiene.
Should a student or staff member’s personal hygiene be of concern the Principal will address the issue. |
