Effective Date: 29-May-2012

The school environment should be well maintained.  Damage to school property is of great concern and those responsible need to be held accountable for their actions.

To ensure that property is returned to its original state as soon as possible.

Parents will be made aware of actions by their children which cause damage through carelessness or wilful intent, and be advised of the cost.

Police advice will be sought if a student continues to deliberately cause damage at the school.

Where a student has deliberately damaged school property, parents/caregivers will be notified and asked to make reparation.  If reparation is not made the Principal has the authority to put in place a consequence for which the student does work around the school.

In an effort to recover the costs of repair from the offender/s, community and police support will be sought as required, should damage occur at any time by either a student or member of the public.
