I have a background in the English education system where my wife and I taught for 5 years in East London. We both enjoy the outdoors so moved to NZ where we settled in wellington. I was Deputy Principal at Korokoro School in Petone for 7 years before becoming the Principal at Plateau School in 2009. I have 2 school age children and my wife is a Reading Recovery teacher.
